Same-sex 'marriage' floodgates open wider in Massachusetts One News Now
A Massachusetts pro-family activist says the prediction that his state would become a mecca for out-of-state homosexual couples who want to get "married" will soon be proven true. Brian Camenker of the pro-family group MassResistance! notes Democratic Governor Deval Patrick and homosexual activists have teamed up to support a bill before the state legislature that would repeal the so-called "1913 law." The law (passed in 1913) bars Massachusetts from marrying out-of-state couples if that marriage is illegal in their home state. Camenker says he cannot think of a governor in the history of the country who has been "more in bed with the homosexual movement" than Deval Patrick. And Camenker warns that it is time for the rest of the country to wake-up.
| | | Canada's Barbarian Playground? By Tim Bloedow | | Timothy Bloedow | The only way to terminate tyranny is to establish Christian government - a cultural Judaeo-Christian ethic that transforms the nature and operation of the civil government (as well as our broader approach to government). Religiously, that means that we worship the God of the Bible, not the gods of the Secular Humanists, which are sex and the state. Sex and the state have their place, but their place is not as objects of worship by barbarians and freedom-haters. Christians must show leadership in combatting this cultural decline into decadence. Christians must speak out and step up. The battle for our culture is not a one-day wonder; it's a long-term campaign. | | |
Why Are Christians So Gullible? By Chuck Baldwin
That today's Christians appear to be among the most gullible people on the planet seems to be a gigantic understatement. For example, it was just a couple or three decades ago when the largest and most influential churches in America were pastored by strong Bible men: men who preached hard against sin; men who didn't try to tickle ears and didn't mind stepping on toes; men who were not afraid to call civil and business leaders to account; men who called a spade a spade. Those days are gone. Today's largest churches share absolutely nothing in common with America's historic revival-style churches. How can Christians be so gullible to fall for these snake oil salesmen? | Who Let the Dogs Out? By Coach David Daubenmire I wonder how many words the Michael Vick dog-fighting episode has elicited. Inflation has obviously taken hold in the media. The pictures of the dog-fights continually being played throughout the media has easily generated millions of words. As I heard a young woman say the other day, "I just can't get the images of those poor animals out of my mind." Stop for a minute and think about the power of pictures. They truly do say what words cannot. Photographs have changed the world. Nothing can move the emotions like pictures. You don't think that the media knows the power of images? How else can you explain the fact that they now want to bar all pictures of smoking from TV and movies? No wonder porn is a billion dollar a year business. Images matter.
