Constitution Party of Florida
June 4, 2007
We've written much in the past on illegal immigration, amnesty, Security and Prosperity Partnership, North American Union, NAFTA SuperHighway, English as our national language, U.S. insolvency and spending, Islam, and other issues, so you know where we stand personally and as a party. So this Viewpoint could just be titled, "Multiple Issues and Events."
Remember our Candidate Seminar/Workshop in Pensacola on Saturday, June 23, all day. This is especially for Panhandle folks, but all Constitution Party of Florida members---prospective candidates and volunteers---are invited. We need to know who's coming, so call us at (561) 741-7592 for information and reservation. Or send us an e-mail inquiry or reservation. The seminar is FREE and YOU need to come if you're considering candidacy in 2008 or beyond, or if you wish to help a candidate. "Without candidates, we're just a discussion group." - Howard Phillips.
CONSTITUTION PARTY of FLORIDA NOW HAS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL IN OFFICE. Tom
Eschenberg, Mayor of Malabar, Florida has become a member of the C.P.F. Elected in 2004 as a non-partisan candidate, Eschenberg registered to vote Constitution Party about a year ago and in May, 2007, became a member of our State party. His term as mayor expires in 2008. We welcome him and trust that, over the years, we can claim many others holding Florida offices as C.P. members.
THE VETERANS COALITION of the CONSTITUTION PARTY is determined to greatly enlarge our party and to form a real voting block in upcoming elections.
Brig. Gen. Charles E. Jones (ret.), heading up the coalition, has shown great enthusiasm and energy in enlisting veterans in the last few months since its inception. He has a goal of reaching five million veterans for the party. Enrollment is set at just $20 per year. Jones recognizes that there are multitudes of veterans out there who are searching for an alternative to the "struggling to stay alive" Republican party. Contact Gen. Jones for information and membership:
www.nvets.org Gen. Jones is also seeking a veteran leader for each State.
Indications that American voters are awakening in great numbers is seen in the mass exodus from the Republican party. Charges are being made that President Bush has, by his amnesty, North American Union, and other policies, essentially destroyed the party. Tom Kovach, writer, inventor, and former talk-radio host reports just this week that Bush "is working hard to help the Constitution Party these days." One poll, with over 3300 respondents, indicated that 81% of Republicans considered themselves part of the revolt over immigration. Over one-third of these favor the "creation" of another political party. Kovach, Tennessee state PR coordinator for the Constitution Party, writes: "Of the six smaller national parties, only one has a nationally recognized member that is capable of actually winning the White House. That party is the Constitution Party, and that member is Dr. Jerome Corsi."
Have you ever wondered? what it would be like when Red China produces and exports to the United States nearly all our essentials? Have you ever thought that they could secretly add a little poison, viruses, bacteria, or whatever to such items as tooth paste or dog food? Maybe you've read that it has already happened! Fox News 5/27/07 reported: "Nicaragua Seizes 6,000 Tubes of Contaminated Toothpaste from China." They just added a little diethylene glycol, a chemical commonly used in antifreeze and brake fluid. Communist Chinese toothpaste reportedly killed 51 people in nearby Panama last year. If Americans don't soon wake up to the fact that we are being gradually made entirely dependent for many items that are no longer made in the U.S.A., the Communists will have us right in the position that they no doubt planned years ago. When you buy "Made in China," my friend, you are stepping right into their trap.
"Which Way America?" is now heard on three Florida stations. On May 21, radio station WDWR, 1230 am, Pensacola, added our program daily. It is heard at 2:55 PM, Monday through Friday. Our original station, WJTW, 100.3 fm, Jupiter, airs our program on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:15. And our Ocala station, WKSG, 89.5 fm, airs us at 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday. If you're in the outreach of these stations, why not tune us in and let us know what you think of the program. WKSG, Ocala, is the most powerful of the stations with a multi-county outreach throughout Central Florida. The program is supported by those concerned patriots who care and help us with donations. We appreciate your help!
In conclusion, been thinking lately about "majoring on the majors." As Constitution Party members, we need to select a few major issues for emphasis. This is recommended for candidates running for office. We find that some folks "major on the minors" while the major issues seem to evade them. Let us help one another to stay on target and not let minor issues take us astray. The enemy of our country delights in such excursions. "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not" (Gal. 6:9).
