Welcome Back The Spotlight 'O Terror
Green - Low: This setting is here just as a reference point. DHS will never use it because it would mean we didn’t need them anymore.
Blue - Guarded: This rarely used setting on the Stoplight ‘O Terror could indicate things like an undocumented worker within 3 square miles of the president.
Yellow - Elevated: This is the standard level of fear. Don’t expect to see anything lower than this as long as the Regressives are in office. Be scared, but not too scared to vote Republican.
Orange - High: Chertoff heard that someone in the CIA’s brother’s boss’ nephew’s sister-in-law heard about a plan to blow up Amish Country Popcorn Factory in Berne Indiana. It’s ok to pee your pants at this level.
Red - Severe: A terror attack was recently narrowly averted. We can’t release any details but just be thankful we saved your asses. Used frequently before midterm elections. See October Surprise. (Oh My God, Take Away My Freedoms and Protect Me From Them There Terrorists, Like Osama Hussein!!!)
Welcome to my Blog, enjoy your stay!
Congressman Ron Paul, MD - We've Been NeoConned

1984 radio broadcast:
- Some interesting statistics
- INTERESTING FACTS ----- NOTICE LINK AND MAP AT BOTTOM
- Some unreported stats about the 2008 election
- Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota ,
- points out some interesting facts concerning the 2008 Presidential election :
- -Number of States won by: Democrats: 20; Republicans: 30
- -Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000; Republicans: 2,427,000
- -Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million; Republicans: 143 million
- -Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2; Republicans: 2.1
- Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in rented or government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
- Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

US manufacturing hits 26-year low: ISM | |
The Institute of Supply Management said its manufacturing index slumped 2.7 points to 36.2 percent, far below the 50 percent level that separates expansion and contraction. The level was the lowest since May 1982.
New orders fell even further to a level of 27.9 percent, suggesting the worst may not be over yet for the sector.
"When comparing November to October, the (index) indicates a continuing rapid rate of contraction in manufacturing," said ISM survey chief Norbert Ore.
"New orders have contracted for 12 consecutive months, and are at the lowest level since June 1980 when the index registered 24.2 percent."
"The manufacturing recession deepened further in November," said economist Peter Kretzmer at Bank of America.
"Orders plummeted at an increasing pace, and input prices continued their accelerating pace of decline. Both import and export orders also continued to fall."
Analysts pointed out the overall economy will have trouble escaping deep recession with manufacturing so weak.
"The worsening credit crisis and deepening global slump have pushed the ISM index below the 41 figure that is consistent with past recessions," said Sal Guatieri, economist at BMO Capital Markets.
| (But, of course, our President, is on top of things...) WASHINGTON (AP) - President George W. Bush expressed remorse that the global financial crisis has cost jobs and harmed retirement accounts and said he'll back more government intervention if needed to ease the recession. "I'm sorry it's happening, of course," Bush said in a wide-ranging interview with ABC's "World News," which was airing Monday. "Obviously I don't like the idea of people losing jobs... Thanks to all,
(Editor's note: Donna had originally intended to send this message only to her state party membership in Missouri, but being aware that Travis lost his job because he was our party's nominee in Missouri's 7th Congressional District andthat he refused to allow himself to be forced into quitting the race, and still managed to conduct one of the most aggressive Congressional Campaigns for the Constitution Party in the country, it was decided to include this message here. Thank you for your consideration.)

Governor -- Rod Blagojevich -- Democrat
Preceding Governor -- George Ryan -- Republican
The Constitution Party is hosting a Special State Convention on January 17, 2009 at the Peoria Public Library from 9:00 am until 4:45 pm. If you are tired of the corruption in Illinois, this meeting is for you.
The Constitution Party will be organizing to get principled men and women elected to office, who will uphold the standards of honesty and integrity with the purpose of restoring this state and this nation to their constitutional roots.
If you have become disenchanted with the two major parties, NOW IS TIME to join with other patriotic citizens to take back our state and our country. Did you know that besides George Ryan, two other former Illinois Governors were convicted of wrong-doing/corruption and that Blagojevich will just make the forth in the procession?
I've been told, "If you're not a part of the solution, then you are part of the problem." I believe this to be a true and valid statement. Especially in this, the most corrupt state in the union, it is not possible to be neutral. Complacency and apathy only breeds more corruption. It is time for the citizens of Illinois to take back control of our government and it's obviously NOT going to happen through either of the two major parties.
Contrary to recent slogans, we don't need "change that you can believe in," we need a constitutional restoration. It was the Constitution of the United States of America and the principles that were laid down by our founding fathers that made this nation the greatest to ever have existed in the history of the world.
If Abraham Lincoln can get elected in a "New" political party (Republicans) in a time when the line between the two major parties (Whigs & Democrats) was indistinguishable, IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN AND NOW IS THE TIME!
It is anticipated that I will be officially announcing my candidacy for Governor of Illinois at the convention. I am willing to lead the charge in this fight for our freedoms and our liberty. BUT, I can not do it alone. Will you fight this battle against corruption with me? Someone must carry the banner of honesty and integrity, and if not us, WHO?? It has become poignantly obvious that neither the Republican nor the Democratic Parties have the will to do so. It is time for "We, the People" to rise once again to take our state and our nation back from the hands of tyrants.
Candidates who have indicated their intent to run for offices throughout the state will also be announced at the convention and I look forward to working with every one to see them elected.
We have less than 15 months until it will be time to collect 25,000 uncontestable signatures for the statewide races and we have a lot of work to be accomplished before that time.
Will you join me in the crusade to take back our state? Then join us on January the 17th and let us ready ourselves to fight and WIN THIS BATTLE!!
Chairman, Constitution Party of Illinois
