Welcome Back The Spotlight 'O Terror
Green - Low: This setting is here just as a reference point. DHS will never use it because it would mean we didn’t need them anymore.
Blue - Guarded: This rarely used setting on the Stoplight ‘O Terror could indicate things like an undocumented worker within 3 square miles of the president.
Yellow - Elevated: This is the standard level of fear. Don’t expect to see anything lower than this as long as the Regressives are in office. Be scared, but not too scared to vote Republican.
Orange - High: Chertoff heard that someone in the CIA’s brother’s boss’ nephew’s sister-in-law heard about a plan to blow up Amish Country Popcorn Factory in Berne Indiana. It’s ok to pee your pants at this level.
Red - Severe: A terror attack was recently narrowly averted. We can’t release any details but just be thankful we saved your asses. Used frequently before midterm elections. See October Surprise. (Oh My God, Take Away My Freedoms and Protect Me From Them There Terrorists, Like Osama Hussein!!!)
Welcome to my Blog, enjoy your stay!

London, Aug. 13, 2007 (CWNews.com) - Amnesty International plans to support abortion services for rape victims in Darfur, in spite of strong protests from the Vatican, the British Independent newspaper reports.
In June Cardinal Renato Martino (bio - news), the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, scolded Amnesty International for a "pro-abortion about-turn," and encouraged Catholic donors to reconsider their support for the group. Episcopal conferences in several countries, including the US, soon joined in a campaign to reverse Amnesty's policy change.
Representatives of Amnesty International, however, held firmly to their position that legal abortion is an appropriate remedy for a "pandemic of violence against women." In Darfur particularly, the organization argues, access to abortion is essential because mass rapes have become a part of the brutal warfare there.
Lawmakers voted 46 to 19 in favour of the bill that will permit abortions of pregnancies in the first 12 weeks.
Mexico City previously allowed abortion only in cases of rape, if the woman's life was at risk or if there were signs of severe defects in the foetus.
Opponents of the abortion law have said they will challenge it in the courts.
Church concerns
The BBC's Duncan Kennedy, in Mexico City, says that for years groups wanting to increase the rights of women have campaigned for change while conservative forces in the Catholic Church and elsewhere have fought to keep the practice outlawed.
Mexico City is one of the most populous cities in the world, with 8.7 million of Mexico's population of 106 million people living there, according to UN figures from 2005.
The abortion vote split Mexico's population, which is 90% Catholic, and prompted a letter last week from Pope Benedict XVI urging Mexican bishops to oppose it.
Prior to the vote, riot police kept rival demonstrators apart as they hurled insults at each other outside the assembly building.
There are an estimated 200,000 illegal abortions in Mexico each year.
Of women who opt for illegal procedures, at least 1,500 women die during botched operations performed in unhygienic backstreet clinics.
Many victims of rape are denied access to legal abortion, a Human Rights Watch report said last year.
The Mexico City assembly has courted controversy in Mexico before: it recently voted to allow same-sex civil unions and is currently considering legalising euthanasia.
CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy -- Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday lashed out against the "dragon" of materialism that has seized much of the world but said God was more powerful than the seemingly "invincible" trend.
While celebrating the Feast of the Assumption marking the Virgin Mary's ascension into heaven, the pope invoked the "red dragon" of evil which figures in the New Testament.
The pontiff said the "red dragon" had been embodied in "the great dictatorships of the past century: Nazism and Stalinism."
"Today, the dragon exists in various forms -- in the materialist ideologies which tell people that it is absurd to think about God, to observe the Commandments which are described as outdated, and that they should grab what they can."
"It seems impossible to oppose this dominant mentality with all the media backing it has and the dragon once again appears to be invincible," he said.
"But God is stronger than the dragon and it is love which triumphs, not selfishness."

LONDON, July 30, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Citing rising rates of violent crime among Britain's black community, the decline of academic rigour in public schools, the enormous cost of housing, unprecedented rates of taxation and general social decay, The Daily Mail reports record numbers of former immigrant families are leaving Britain to return to Jamaica.
The Daily Mail said Saturday that between 20,000 and 30,000 Jamaicans, some of whom have lived for decades in the UK, and young Britons of Jamaican ancestry, will return home in the next five years. Britain's sinking standard of living, rising violent gun crime among black British youths and the new "surveillance state" in which Britons are spied upon by government cameras on almost every major city street, are driving what some are calling an exodus of well-to-do Britons of Jamaican descent.
Michael Eboda, editor of New Nation, Britain's biggest black newspaper told the Times, "People want a better standard of living and better schools. Then there is the question of gun crime. In the Caribbean, black kids are not shooting one another in the random way it happens in Britain."
"People say there is no freedom in Britain. There are cameras everywhere, there is a traffic warden on every corner and the police are more likely to stop you. Add to that the tax burden. You cannot make real money in this country."
This social decay has been largely ignored and denied through the New Labour's decade-long tenure. In comments this spring, then-Prime Minister Tony Blair reluctantly admitted, "of course marriage is a good thing" but downplayed a need to support the institution through tax reform, and denied that British society is "broken."
Blair's comment came in response to a speech by David Cameron, leader of Britain's once-mighty Conservative party, who identified support for traditional marriage as the key to restoring what he called Britain's "broken society". "I'll tell you what's wrong," Cameron said. "We have too many children behaving like adults and too many adults behaving like children."
Cameron promised to end unfair tax regulations on married couples and said that he wanted to see "more couples stay together, and we know the best way to ensure this is to support marriage".
"If we are to rebuild our broken society," Cameron said, "we have to get the foundation right. And the foundation of society is - or should be - the care of children by the man and the woman who brought them into the world."
Some have said, however, that David Cameron's flirtation with his party's traditional socially conservative constituency was short-lived. Since his comments in March, the Cameron strategy of moving the party to the left to follow Labour voters has backfired. In two key by-elections on July 19, Britain's official opposition party took a heavy hit at the ballot box. In Sedgefield in the north and the west London of Ealing Southall, Tories took third place behind Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
Despite the setback Cameron, calling for support from his backbenchers, said he would not be returning the party to its traditional policies. "Now is not time to change our strategy, now is the time to reaffirm our strategy. Remember that elections are always won on the centre ground," he said.
Tories now lag nine points behind Labour, according to the latest YouGov poll in the Daily Telegraph, and the Herald reports that Cameron's popularity has sunk from 43% to 27% since February. The poll specifically cited the Tories' move to the left as the cause. The Telegraph reports that the survey of 1,877 people revealed voters consider the party's faithful to be well to the right of its leaders.

| New World Order Now Here? | ||
| The truth behind the conspiracy theory |

The apocalyptic turmoil and destruction resulting from the Persian Gulf War is being harnessed by self-styled Globalists to hasten the founding of a One-World government. President Bush has given his personal endorsement of such a World Parliament by calling for the early formation of a New World Order. The rationale for this age-old vision of a universal brotherhood is that true peace, and an end to incessant wars, can only be achieved by a central world government empowered with a military police force adequate to enforce the international peace. On the face of it, such a solution contains a certain measure of plausibility. But a closer examination of this insidious proposal raises many questions that should give every freedom-loving American pause for great concern. In the implementation of an omnipotent One-World government, what will happen to the sovereignty of each individual nation? Will it be abrogated by fiat? Will the Constitution of the U.S. cease to be the law of the land, overridden by the bureaucratic edicts and whims of a central world government? How will the natural resources of each nation be allocated, and the productive wealth of that Nation? Or will the productivity of individual nations be considered the communal property of the Global collective? Will binding legislative power be shared with the butchers of Beijing and Moscow? Will such a government as all governments are wont to do, fall under the despotic control of an oligarchy of elitists beyond accountability or recall? And most importantly, will the Catholic Church be left free to carry on its mission of preaching the Gospel to all nations? These are only some of the troubling questions raised by the imminent creation of a World Government. A brief review of the historic roots of One-World government and the agenda of its advocates reveals with startling clarity what the Globalists are really after. The spearhead for One-World government in the U.S. has been the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), which was incorporated in 1921 under the direction of Colonel Edward M. House, often referred to by historians as Pres. Woodrow Wilson’s alter ego. Colonel House was a man driven by a Utopian vision of a world collective. The corruption of the American Republic, and the major strides in the direction of one-world government, were the dominant features of Wilson’s domestic and foreign policies. The CFR’s objective, as subsequent events would reveal, was the conception and establishment of an ascendant international World Order. Space does not permit the convoluted history of the veiled workings of this organization. It should be pointed out, however, that in 1954 the Reece Committee in its investigation of tax-free foundations said of the CFR that “its productions are not objective but are directed overwhelmingly at promoting the global concept…It is obvious enough that the world has grown smaller and that international cooperation is highly desirable. But the essence of intelligent international cooperation can be measured by its direct usefulness to our national interest.” And that is the central consideration before the American people. Is the CFR and its fellow-travelers serving the national interest in its drive towards world government? In his book, The West in Crisis, James P. Warburg stated his support of the need for a world government. “We are living in a perilous period of transition from the era of the fully sovereign nation-state to the era of world government.” On Feb. 17, 1950, Warburg also told a Senate Committee how the peoples of the world would receive this world government. “We shall have world government whether you like it or not, if not by consent by conquest.” The world government planned by these leaders includes plans for a world police force. Historian Arnold Toynbee once said, “The local states ought to be deprived of their sovereignty to a global world government. I think the world state will still need an armed police, and the world government will have to command sufficient force to be able to impose peace.” The former director of the World Health Organization, Dr. Brock Chisholm, has stated: “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism and religious dogmas.” In a blatant attack against Christianity he said: “We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday School teachers, our politicians, our priests, and others with vested interests in controlling us…The eventual eradication of the concept of right and` wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of the old people, these are the belated objectives for chanting the changes in human behavior.” So we now see that a new man must be created to fit painlessly into a new world order in which there will be no objective morality, no parental rights, no respect for the elderly, and no Christian orientation. In short, this anti-Christian New World Order will become a force for the universal indoctrination and imposition of secular-Humanism. There will be no room in this house for Our Lord Jesus Christ. And what will become of the right to own private property? In addition to destroying man’s basic loyalties to family, nation and religion, the nation must be conditioned to the belief that less is better than more. The standard of living of those in affluent nations must be reduced – that is, by expropriation of the fruits of their productivity by the World government. This sharing of the wealth, the exact position proposed in the Communist Manifesto, is called the New International Economic Order, a phrase that was defined by the Council of Foreign Relations member, ex-Senator Charles Percy: “The philosophy behind the new international economic order is based on the fact that the developed wealthier nations use a substantially greater share of the earth’s resources than do the less developed poor nations. The new order calls for a more equitable distribution of the earth’s resources among the earth’s people and redistribution of wealth among the rich and poor nations,” he said. Richard Gardner, a top advisor to President Jimmy Carter, wrote in the April 1974 issue of FOREIGN AFFAIRS, the monthly journal of the Conference on Foreign Relations, that in building “the house of world order…an end run around national sovereignty, eroding piece by piece, will accomplish more than the old fashioned frontal assault.” In other worlds, deception is the order of the day. The progress toward world government has been steady, not because the people of the richer countries have freely chosen it after hearing all the arguments on both sides, but because they have been lied to. And that lie has been dinned into their ears for decades by a prostituted media playing the role of midwife in the birth of the New World Order. The World Affairs Council – an affiliate of the UN – on Jan. 30, 1976, announced the release of the “Declaration of Interdependence”. It read in part: “To establish a New World Order…it is essential that mankind free itself from limitation of national prejudice…We affirm that the economy of all nations is a seamless web, and that no one nation can any longer effectively maintain its processes of production and monetary systems without recognizing the necessity of collaborative regulation by international authorities. We call upon all nations to strengthen the United Nations and other institutions of world order.” At the time of its release Congresswoman Marjorie Holt said this about the Declaration: “It calls for the surrender of our national sovereignty to international organizations. It declares that our economy should be regulated by international authorities. It proposes that we enter a New World Order that would redistribute the wealth created by the American people.” And that’s the CFR game in a nutshell! It should be pointed out that the Conference on Foreign Relations does not operate in a vacuum. It has been making foreign policy in our State Department for decades, regardless of which party happens to be in power. The CFR has become a self-perpetuating bureaucracy within our government. President Bush’s cabinet is presently dominated by CFR members. The One-worlders – for all their vaunted cleverness – do not perceive reality with unclouded vision. How could they, since they categorically deny the very existence of God, and His presence in the affairs of mankind? They view nations as mere pawns in a global chess game. At Fatima, the site of the miraculous apparitions of the Blessed Mother, an Angel spoke to the three young seers, identifying himself as the Guardian Angel of Portugal. This is undeniable evidence that it is God alone who raises up or destroys nations by His inscrutable Will. The One-worlders labor in vain, for the house they seek to build lacks the foundational stone which is Christ Himself. And when men strive falsely to build for themselves a material paradise-on-earth, they succeed only in making a living hell of it for helpless multitudes. The 20th-century of ours will undoubtedly be recorded as the bloodiest in human history, when millions perished in the wreckage of failed Utopian experiments. But modern man still persists in going it alone without God, which is a sure prescription for madness. To give the devil his due, however, the apostles for world government have worked long and hard to build their brave new world. Their tireless zeal – though dedicated to wrongful ends – is awesome to behold. If Catholics labored with equal zeal for the establishment of the Kingship of Christ over the hearts of men and the nations of the world, they would be transformed into holy vessels of election making straight the way for a glorious new age of Christian order, and moral sanity. But tragically the Kingship of Christ is an alien concept for most Catholics. In the United States, especially many Catholics, befuddled by the Americanist Heresy, view the Kingship of Christ as near-treasonous and unpatriotic. But, paradoxically, a total surrender to Christ does not mean the destruction of our national autonomy, but rather its salvation from the corrosive effects of World government and satanic inroads. Will the one-worlders succeed in their evil enterprise for World Government? That will depend upon God’s Providence, for while man proposes, it is God who ultimately disposes. Much depends, too, upon the willingness of Christians to mount an organized opposition to this diabolical drive for the enslavement of the whole world to a godless central world government. Primary among the means to do so is each man and woman’s personal sanctity and union with Almighty God, Who alone can inform, animate and direct our human efforts for His greater glory. At Fatima in 1917, Our Lady made the promise that in the end Her Immaculate Heart will triumph and that mankind would be blessed with a period of peace. Based on that promise, we can safely assume that the world which will ensue after Her triumph will not be a New World Order. We can also assume that it will be Her Son, true God, true Man, and true King who will reign in that New World of blessed peace and universal Christian charity.
