Welcome Back The Spotlight 'O Terror
Green - Low: This setting is here just as a reference point. DHS will never use it because it would mean we didn’t need them anymore.
Blue - Guarded: This rarely used setting on the Stoplight ‘O Terror could indicate things like an undocumented worker within 3 square miles of the president.
Yellow - Elevated: This is the standard level of fear. Don’t expect to see anything lower than this as long as the Regressives are in office. Be scared, but not too scared to vote Republican.
Orange - High: Chertoff heard that someone in the CIA’s brother’s boss’ nephew’s sister-in-law heard about a plan to blow up Amish Country Popcorn Factory in Berne Indiana. It’s ok to pee your pants at this level.
Red - Severe: A terror attack was recently narrowly averted. We can’t release any details but just be thankful we saved your asses. Used frequently before midterm elections. See October Surprise. (Oh My God, Take Away My Freedoms and Protect Me From Them There Terrorists, Like Osama Hussein!!!)

Congressman Ron Paul, MD - We've Been NeoConned

1984 radio broadcast:
Protests as U.S. city gives illegal immigrants IDs Reuters July 25, 2007 About 250 people gathered at the city hall as New Haven started issuing the cards that grant access to services such as libraries and parks, and give illegal immigrants a chance to open bank accounts. Supporters say the ID cards, which are offered to all New Haven's 124,000 residents, will improve public safety and give protections to its estimated 10,000 to 15,000 undocumented workers. Critics say they will invite illegal immigration, strain services and waste taxpayer money. Shouting matches erupted as the two sides argued over the legality of the program, which comes as immigration reform is stalled in the U.S. Congress, leaving many cities to struggle with how to deal with a growing undocumented population. Inside city hall, more than 100 residents, legal and illegal, waited in line to pick up or apply for the card. "We are here for a long time and we need something to show that we are not bad people," said a man who identified himself as Marvin from Honduras who has lived in New Haven for 15 years. "We need something to show to check our records and show that nobody is running from anything." About two dozen protesters from Southern Connecticut Citizens for Immigration Reform booed New Haven Mayor John DeStefano as he entered city hall, yelling: "Arrest him, arrest him. You're breaking the law, Johnny Boy." The mayor did not acknowledge the crowd. FEDERAL DEADLOCK Later, when asked about the opposition, DeStefano said the city is dealing with an issue that the federal government has refused to address. "They don't have the will to pass a coherent immigration and border security program," he said. "If we're going to be the safest place we can be, we need to acknowledge who lives here." DeStefano said he doubted a plastic card in itself would spark an influx of illegal immigration. "Immigration is largely driven by the desire of individuals to do better for themselves and for their children to have greater opportunity. That's what creates immigration patterns: work and opportunity. Not a piece of plastic." Nadia Minor of Mexico, who came to New Haven with her family 12 years ago, said the cards were long overdue. "I don't see what the big deal is. It's not giving us permanent resident status. I mean opening a bank account and being able to present an ID, is that something that is really wrong?" she said. Two banks have agreed to accept the new card as identification sufficient for opening an account. The Southern Connecticut Citizens for Immigration Reform hopes to block the program with a complaint filed with the U.S. Attorney's office in Connecticut, saying the program violates federal law, said Dustin Gold, a member of the group. "Just because our fed officials will not enforce it, it does not give a municipal politician the right to bend and break the rules. The mayor has to be held accountable for this," he said. Linda Hartman of Branford, Connecticut, said the program is wrong. "This should be done on a national level. I don't believe it should be done locally," she said. |
Snow demands reporter change 'twisted words' in article
Raw Story July 26, 2007
David Edwards and Will Menaker
White House press secretary Tony Snow took time out from answering questions at Wednesday's briefing to lecture a veteran reporter on journalism and demand that he change the "twisted words" in an article he had written.
Towards the end of the briefing Snow called on Les Kinsolving, a long time correspondent and talk radio host, famous for his sometimes bizarre questions and cantankerous attitude, whose website touts him "as one of the few who has the guts to ask probing questions and even providing comic relief." Kinsolving asked Snow whether the President thinks it would be a good idea for all Americans to prepare an emergency survival kit for a possible terrorist attack or natural disaster.
Snow quickly said he couldn't comment, and then proceeded to take time out to lecture Kinsolving on his job, "Let me just point out," Snow said, "that you need to ask questions that bear on the President's responsibilities."
Snow continued to press Kinsolving, "I saw the piece you wrote the other day, that has been thoroughly twisting[sic] out of context." At this point Kinsolving tried to get a word in, but Snow was having none of it, "You know what I don't care, because the fact is, if someone is going to take questions about things that don't fall under the president's purview, and I answer that question, and it gets twisted, it is a disservice to this White House and the craft of journalism."
It was never clear exactly what piece Snow was objecting to, but he was annoyed enough to suggest, "that if I were you, I would pick up the phone and tell them to start cleaning up or writing corrections."
After being scolded, Kinsolving moved to his next question without missing a beat, asking if the President would call a lame-duck session of Congress to try and pass immigration reform again.
In his latest World Net Daily column, publisher Joseph Farah stands up for his White House correspondent.
Farah writes, "Since talk radio has been largely credited with having led to the defeat of the Bush-Kennedy 'Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill,' the press room resentment of Kinsolving has been apparent not only from Snow – but from unidentified members of the press corps."
Referring to Snow's words on Wednesday to Kinsolving, Farah writes, "This is a rebuke, and a threat, and an attempt to control Les Kinsolving and WND's right to ask questions at the White House."
Oddly, Farah complains that longtime correspondent Helen Thomas has been "treated with with respect – even deference by Snow," when compared to Kinsolving. However, the most notable occurrences inside the briefing room the last few years have been the contentious battles between Thomas and the White House secretary, including the time when Snow thanked her "for the Hezbollah view."
Farah's column also announces that "Kinsolving will no longer attend" the "Tony-Snow-censored White House news briefings."
"We do most sadly regret that under the pressure of such low ratings for President Bush, his press secretary – who puts up with so much abuse from Old Big Media reporters – has decided to discriminate against Les Kinsolving, who will continue to be our White House correspondent..." Farah adds.
From now on, WND plans to "publish one question from WND, one from our White House correspondent, Les Kinsolving, and one selected from among our 8 million readers."
"If Snow answers any of these three questions, we will be happy to so report," Farah adds. "What we suspect, however, is that rarely will such questions be either answered, or asked, in the presently Tony-Snow-censored White House news briefings – which Kinsolving will no longer attend."

Crime-fighting beats privacy in public places: Americans, by nearly a 3-to-1 margin, support the increased use of surveillance cameras a measure decried by some civil libertarians, but credited in London with helping to catch a variety of perpetrators since the early 1990s.
Given the chief arguments, pro and con a way to help solve crimes vs. too much of a government intrusion on privacy it isn't close: 71 percent of Americans favor the increased use of surveillance cameras, while 25 percent oppose it.
London's surveillance network, known as the "Ring of Steel," is said to have aided in the capture of suspects, including those accused of a pair of attempted car bombings in June.
A similar system is coming to New York City, which plans 100 new surveillance cameras in downtown Manhattan by year's end and 3,000 public and private by 2010. Chicago and Baltimore plan expanded surveillance systems as well.
Critics, such as the American Civil Liberties Union, have opposed such systems, arguing that they invade privacy, and could be used to track innocent people.
Nonetheless, majority support for
surveillance cameras crosses political, ideological and population groups, albeit with differences in degree.
Seniors are most apt to support the increased use of these cameras, with under-30s, least so; Republicans more than Democrats; women more than men; higher educated people more than the less educated; and whites more than African-Americans.
Through a political lens, support for increased use of surveillance systems is lowest, 62 percent, among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who support Barack Obama for president and highest of all, 86 percent, among Republicans who support Rudy Giuliani, who made his name as New York City's crime-fighting mayor.
METHODOLOGY This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by telephone July 18-21, 2007, among a random national sample of 1,125 adults.
Additional interviews were conducted with an oversample of randomly selected African-Americans for a total of 210 black respondents.
The results have a three-point error margin. Sampling, data collection and tabulation by TNS of Horsham, Pa.

The US army is to enforce a huge security perimeter around the upcoming North American Union meeting in Canada this August as well as cracking down on expected protests, having already shut down a public forum due to take place close to the event.
The Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting in Montebello, Quebec on August 20 and 21 is to be policed by American forces, who along with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) have already refused to allow the Municipality of Papineauville, which is about six kilometres from Montebello, to rent a community centre
to the Council of Canadians action group who were planning to hold a public forum the night before the confab to express their concerns about the meeting and the issues being discussed.
The Council of Canadians has also been told that in addition to the 25km perimeter in Montebello, there will be checkpoints in nearby areas, and vehicles carrying more than five people will be turned back.
A whole host of other Canadian activist groups are scheduling protests despite the military cordon. According to journalist and NAU researcher Jerome R. Corsi, the protesters believe that as many as 10,000 people could assemble in Quebec to demonstrate.
One particular activist group, Canadian Action Party , has taken issue with US troops coordinating operations for the confab on Canadian soil while denying access to Canadian citizens.
CAP's leader said,”Bad enough that our RCMP and the Quebec provincial police force would apply offensive Canadian law to prevent a legitimate meeting of dissenting citizens. Totally untenable that a foreign army assumes jurisdiction on our land. But this we knew from the Binational Planning Agreement begun in 2002 that saw Canada crawl on its belly and permit the USA military to enter our land whenever it deems necessary. “
“Does anyone still believe that our federal leaders have not thrown away our sovereignty ? That from Chretien (Liberal) to Martin (Liberal) to Harper (Conservative), the Prime Ministers of our land have not been committing treason behind closed doors? How otherwise would it be possible that a proud, sovereign, and free nation would see a foreign army on its soil interfering with the right of Canadians to assemble and to speak?”
Elite lobbying group the Council on Foreign Relations seeded the plan for a "North American Advisory Council" which eventually became the SPP.
It comes as no surprise to NAU researchers that the latest SPP meeting will be a highly secretive and guarded affair given that CFR documents have revealed that the group wants to "establish private bodies that would meet regularly or annually to buttress North American relationships, along the lines of the Bilderberg conferences."
Internal SPP documents released under the FOIA have also shown that a wide range of US administrative law is being re-written in stealth under this program to "integrate" and "harmonize" with administrative law in Mexico and Canada, in a similar fashion to moves that have become commonplace within the EU.
The documents contain references to upwards of 13 working groups within an entire organized infrastructure that has drawn from officials within most areas of administrative government including U.S. departments of State, Homeland Security, Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, Transportation, Energy, Health and Human Services, and the office of the US Trade Representative.
During the upcoming SPP meeting an advisory Council created last year known as the North American Competitiveness Council will meet on issues including border regulation and competitiveness in the automotive, transportation, manufacturing and services sectors. The council is expected to meet annually with security and prosperity ministers and will engage with senior government officials on an ongoing basis.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is scheduled to host the Quebec summit which Mexican President Felipe Calderon and US President George W. Bush also planning to attend.
The highest elected officials within the US, Canadian and Mexican governments are meeting together with advisory bodies staffed by senior private sector representatives yet the public are being forcibly denied any access to the event in addition to a pathetic blackout on behalf of the corporate media which still ridicules anyone who suggests the North American Union plan even exists.

Stephen Colbert made heavy reference to the Illuminati and their plan to depopulate the world, noting that he too can make strange hand signs and wants to be recruited. Whether Colbert takes depopulation seriously or not, it truly is a key part of the globalist's plan for world domination-- as documented below.
Colbert brings up the Illuminati in conjunction with Benjamin Fulford, a former Forbes magazine writer, who alleges that the Illuminati network seeks to use race-specific biological weapons to decrease Asian populations to 500,000,000.
Fulford gave an exclusive six hour interview to the Jeff Rense Show on the subject, which can be found here.
Benjamin Fulford: Chinese Secret Society Challenges Illuminati
"A Chinese secret society with 6 million members, including 1.8 million Asian gangsters and 100,000 professional assassins, have targeted Illuminati members if they proceed with world depopulation plans, according to Tokyo-based journalist Benjamin Fulford, 46."
Benjamin Fulford on the Global Economy
While we have not yet fully evaluated Fulford's claims, it is true that radical depopulation schemes have been published in a number of government documents. It is a major subject in the upcoming Alex Jones' film ENDGAME.
South Africa developed race-specific bioweapons and later sold them to Israel. Dick Cheney mentions the use of race-specific bioweapons in future warfare in the September 2000 Project for a New American Century document "Rebuilding America's Defenses" [page 60].
Henry Kissinger endorsed major planks of the 1944 Royal Commission on Population, headed by George VI and included them in his NSSM 200 memorandum on population reduction, which lists 13 countries for specific targeting and mentions that "food is a weapon." Clearly the United Nations and its subsidiaries also participate in pushing this agenda.
Also, many of the United States' most wealthy contribute billions to population reduction programs, including Ted Turner, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, just to name a few.
Prince Philip has stated his wish to return to earth as a deadly virus in order to cull human population. Dr. Eric Pianka, of the University of Texas, calls for 90% population reduction to stabilize the earth.
Even the esoteric Georgia Guidestones call for a world population of not more than 500,000,000.
Bertrand Russell writes in his essay, "Effects of Scientific Technique" (Contained in The Impact of Science on Society):
"If there is not to be an endless succession of wars, population will have to became stationary throughout the world, and this will probably have to be done in many countries as a result of governmental measures....[or] War may become so destructive that, at any rate for a time, there is no
danger of overpopulation."

In an historic, first vote in Congress to restrict funding for the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) of North America, yesterday the House approved by a vote of 362 to 63 an amendment to H.R. 3074 (Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 200
"prohibiting the use of funds to participate in a working group pursuant to the Security and Prosperity Partnership."
There's been a growing buzz this year over the SPP and how it's being used as a steppingstone to a North American Union (NAU). Eighteen state legislatures have introduced resolutions asking Congress to block the NAU ; three states passed their anti-NAU resolution in one house; and three states passed their anti-NAU resolution in both houses.
Although there is a resolution ( H. Con. Res. 40 ) in the House of Representatives "Expressing the sense of Congress that the United States should not ... enter into a North American Union with Mexico and Canada," there has been virtually no congressional oversight over SPP activities, such as the numerous "working groups" with representatives from the United States, Mexico, and Canada. That is to say, virtually no congressional oversight until yesterday, when the House voted overwhelmingly to approve Rep. Duncan Hunter's (R-Calif.) amendment to prohibit any funds appropriated by the Transportation and Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act of 2008 from being used for U.S. participation in SPP working groups.
In a related development, on July 23, Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) introduced an amendment to H.R. 3093 (Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 200
, stating "None of the funds in this Act shall be made available for the Security and Prosperity Partnership." Thus, this amendment would permit no funding for the SPP from the funds appropriated for the Commerce Department in 2008. This is highly significant because the Commerce Department coordinates the “Prosperity” component of the SPP , including maintaining the official www.spp.gov website. A vote is possible on this amendment as early as today or tomorrow.
